LIGHTING APPLICATION
A lamp and lighting gooseneck arm is used when a light head needs stable adjustment for reading, inspection, machine work, display lighting or compact task lighting. The arm must hold the lamp head at the required angle while still feeling practical for daily adjustment.
For OEM lighting projects, the flexible arm should be selected together with the lamp head, base, clamp, shade, wire path and surface finish. A tube that works by itself may not be strong enough once the full lamp head and cable are installed.

| Check area | What to confirm | Buyer note |
|---|---|---|
| Lamp head load | Weight, size, cable route and required hold angle. | Head weight is the first detail needed for arm selection. |
| Mounting method | Base, clip, clamp, screw mount or machine-side bracket. | The mount and arm should be checked as one assembly. |
| Arm structure | Length, diameter, bend force, coating and end fittings. | Longer arms need stronger hold performance and careful balance. |
| Use environment | Desk, classroom, workshop, inspection station or machine lighting. | Vibration, heat and frequent adjustment change the best structure. |
For lighting projects, share the whole lamp structure. The gooseneck arm, base, shade and cable route need to be balanced before samples are made.
Lighting arms need reliable positioning and clean appearance because the arm is visible to the user. Heat, lamp-head weight, base stability and the number of daily adjustments should be reviewed before sampling.
Start with lamp head weight, required reach, mounting method, color or finish, wire routing and the expected adjustment frequency.

A lamp arm is one of the clearest tests of gooseneck quality. The user bends it often, sees the finish every day and expects the light head to stay where it is placed. The tube should be selected around lamp head weight, working length, end connection and surface finish.
For OEM lighting projects, we usually confirm whether the arm needs paint, plating, PVC coating or silicone coating before sampling. The finish affects both appearance and assembly clearance.
It should bend smoothly, hold the lamp head without drifting, match the product finish and connect securely to the base and light head.
Yes. Painted, plated, PVC coated and silicone coated finishes can be reviewed against the product design.
